Hours of Work: 37hrs per week (shifts to include evenings and weekends)

Rate of Pay: £14.14 per hour

The Client: Local Public organisation based in Lisburn, serving local residents.

The Role:

As a member of the Inclusive Communities & Resources Team, the post holder will be required to assist the Community Facilities Development Co-ordinator in the day-to-day running of the community centres, including reception duties, administrative tasks and cash-handling processes. They will also support the development and implementation of the facility-specific Community Centre Development Plan. In addition, the post holder will ensure that user groups are effectively supervised in a safe and well-maintained environment, with rooms set up and cleared in accordance with user requirements. The post holder will also be required to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis to meet the operational needs of the service.

Essential Criteria:

• 5 GCSE passes at grade A-C, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
• A minimum of one year's employment experience in at least three of the following areas:
  • Working with the public in a customer service-related environment in commercial, community or leisure premises
  • Administration and record keeping
  • Cash handling
  • Reception duties
  • Cleaning
  • Erecting, dismantling and storing equipment

Where applicants do not hold the qualifications outlined they must demonstrate a minimum of three years' experience in at least three of the following areas above

• Experience of dealing with voluntary and community groups in a working environment
