Family Support Worker

Staffline Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for a Family Support Worker to join a well established social care provider in NI.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will work as part of a supportive team delivering high-quality childcare and educational experiences for children aged 0-4 years. You will help create a welcoming environment that promotes learning through play while ensuring each child's individual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

• • Provide high-quality support to children, young people and families through individual and group-based activities.
  • Assist in delivering support plans and interventions to meet individual needs.
  • Conduct home or site visits where required.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports and case notes using IT systems.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external agencies.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times.

Essential Criteria

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or relevant experience.
• Experience supporting children, young people and/or families in a care, support or community setting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures.
