Sales Support & Customer Care Administrator
Location: Dundalk, Co. Louth
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent & Temporary
Our client, an established and growing organisation based in Dundalk, is seeking an experienced Sales Support & Customer Care Administrator to join their busy team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing a varied workload. The successful candidate will support customers across Ireland and the UK, processing orders, coordinating deliveries and working closely with internal teams including Sales, Finance, Warehouse and Customer Care.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently through the company ERP system.
- Schedule customer deliveries and collections via phone, email and customer portals.
- Prepare accurate delivery documentation for warehouse and drivers.
- Liaise with warehouse teams regarding stock, product queries, loading requirements and delivery routes.
- Work closely with Finance regarding customer accounts and credit terms.
- Assist with monthly order book reviews and debtor meetings.
- Manage customer queries, returns, delivery corrections and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide a consistently high level of customer service.
- Support the sales team and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products where appropriate.
- Build strong working relationships with Area Sales Managers and other internal stakeholders.
- Maintain good knowledge of the company's product portfolio and alternative products.
- Reconcile returns paperwork in conjunction with Warehouse and Finance teams.
- Provide cover for the Customer Care team during annual leave.
- Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support key account management activities.
- Generate reports and assist with troubleshooting where required.
- Undertake additional duties and support other teams when required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a busy office administration, sales support or customer service environment.
- Experience processing orders and dealing with customers is highly desirable.
- Previous experience using an ERP system is advantageous.
- Strong computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent telephone manner and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work effectively to tight deadlines.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with sales and/or accounts systems would be an advantage.
- Reliable, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a positive, solutions-focused approach.
- Strong team player who is also capable of working independently.
- A commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
