Payroll Administrator

Location: Dundalk, Co. Louth
Permanent | Full-Time

Staffline Recruitment are currently recruiting for our client for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a busy and professional team based in Dundalk.

This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with strong attention to detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing payroll for a variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls for a broad range of clients, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Ensure payroll information is processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Deal with Irish payroll requirements including PAYE, PRSI, USC, pensions, benefits, BIK and health insurance calculations.
  • Respond to payroll queries from clients, employees and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
  • Use payroll software and Microsoft Excel to process and reconcile payroll information.
  • Ensure payroll deadlines and statutory requirements are consistently met.
  • Keep up to date with changes to Irish payroll legislation, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee and client information.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide a professional service to clients.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a payroll role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish payroll processes and legislation.
  • Experience processing weekly and/or monthly payroll.
  • Experience with payroll software such as Sage Payroll or similar.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent numeracy and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and GDPR/data protection.
  • IPASS, Finance, HR or equivalent qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
