Production Analyst
We are currently recruiting for a Production Analyst to support a busy and fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment in Derry City.
The Role
The Production Analyst will work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering and Planning teams to transform data into actionable insights that improve productivity, quality and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysing production metrics, KPIs and operational performance data.
- Identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Producing daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Monitoring manufacturing efficiency, downtime and quality metrics.
- Supporting root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
- Developing dashboards and visualisations to communicate performance.
- Supporting capacity planning and production scheduling activities.
- Maintaining production databases and reporting systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence programmes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems and manufacturing data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of manufacturing KPIs and performance metrics.
