Our clients organisation is a leading distributor of Hydraulic & Industrial Hose & Fittings and is now seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their team.

The Role
As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling high-quality hydraulic and industrial hose, fittings, and services across a range of industries including agriculture, construction, waste & recycling, marine, plant & machinery hire, and forestry .

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will:

• Conduct technical product demonstrations
• Research target markets and identify new business opportunities
• Develop and execute sales strategies
• Compete effectively within the market and win new business
• Work closely with internal and external sales teams to drive growth

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:

• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, professionalism, and teamwork
• Be highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient
• Have experience in B2B sales within a competitive environment
• Show a proven ability in upselling, cross-selling, and generating new business
• Be confident working independently and managing their own pipeline
• Possess strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Have experience with consultative/solution-based selling approaches
• Be commercially aware and capable of analysing market trends and competitors
• Have experience using CRM systems
• Be eligible to work full-time in the Republic of Ireland

• Salary of €50,000 - €55,000
