Road Freight Forwarder

ROAD FREIGHT FORWARDER | DUBLIN 15 | PERMANENT

We are seeking an organised and hands-on Road Freight Forwarder to join our client's logistics team in Dublin 15.

THE ROLE|

You will coordinate UK and EU groupage road operations for a mix of imports and exports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES|

• Process customer requirements and accurately maintain job files and internal systems, including customs information.
• Manage freight updates, customer queries and day-to-day correspondence.
• Liaise with hauliers to arrange trailer bookings and coordinate UK and European transport movements.
• Plan daily trailer routes and prepare required transport documentation, including PODs and manifests.
• Raise customer invoices and accruals, working with Finance to resolve invoice queries.
• Maintain accurate and timely records using the Azyra system.

REQUIREMENTS|

• Previous 3 years' experience in groupage transport planning or logistics
• Good knowledge of route planning
• Experience with transport systems (Azyra or similar)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
