HGV Driver

To safely and efficiently operate Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) for the transport of goods/materials, ensuring timely deliveries and collections while maintaining full compliance with road safety, company, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate HGV vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections in line with company requirements
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely arrivals and minimise delays
• Ensure all loads are securely fastened and transported safely
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections (walkaround checks) before and after use
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle

Qualifications

Valid HGV Licence (Category C / CE)

Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) Could
