Staffline are recruiting on behalf of NHSCT for a Band 4 Theatre Scheduling Support Officer required on a temporary basis based in Antrim/Whiteabbey.
Role: Band 4 Theatre Scheduling Support Officer
Rate of Pay: £14.06
Location: Antrim/Whiteabbey
Hours: 37.5 hours
Duration: End of September
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
·Day to day first line staff management responsibility for ward clerks within the ATIC's team. ·Report non-compliance of Consultant 6 week leave policy to Line Manager |
·Point of contact for patients, clinicians, managers and administration staff on issues within areas of responsibility |
·Record statistics in line with departmental guidance ·Produce statistics within area of responsibility |
·Assist in the production and co-ordination of Theatre schedules trust-wide to ensure distribution of timely theatre schedules ·Assist in the reallocation of sessions to ensure maximum utilisation and ensure changes are updated on the shared folder |
·To participate in User Groups as required. |
·To use Trust wide and departmental computer technology in line with the Trust's Informatics Strategy. |
·Through his/her own actions ensure adherence to the Principles of Equality and Human Rights Legislation ·To undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade as may be assigned from time to time. ·To assist the theatre scheduler with weekly monitoring and any other duties as necessary.

Essential Criteria:
- 2 'A' Levels (or equivalent) Plus 2 years Experience in administration to include coordination and planning work load plus using IT systems (to include MS office).
OR
- 5 GCSE 'O'Levels (or equivalent) including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above Plus 3 years Experience in administration to include coordination and planning work load plus using IT systems (to include MS office).
OR
- 5 years Experience in administration to include coordination and planning work load plus using IT systems (to include MS office).
