Location: Hilden, Co. Monaghan
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are seeking a Site Trainer to join our team in Hilden, Co. Monaghan on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing our workforce by delivering engaging training programmes, maintaining compliance and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering training across the site, ensuring employees have the knowledge, skills and confidence to perform their roles safely and effectively.
You will work closely with Production Leaders and department managers to identify training needs, develop training materials and maintain accurate training records while ensuring all mandatory and refresher training remains compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging induction programmes, including manual handling and food safety.
- Facilitate training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Design and develop in-house training materials and programmes.
- Coordinate and schedule training with minimal disruption to production.
- Maintain training records, matrices and compliance using the company's training management system.
- Monitor employee competency and identify any additional training requirements.
- Prepare training documentation for internal and external audits.
- Coordinate external training, including First Aid, FLT and other certified training.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by promoting a positive learning culture.
Essential Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (essential).
- Train the Trainer certification (essential).
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage learners at all levels.
- Strong experience delivering SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) training.
- Highly organised, with exceptional planning and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience developing training materials and delivering structured training programmes.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) or training management system.
- Knowledge of BRC standards.
- First Aid or Health & Safety training experience.
