Client Manager (Commercial Insurance)
Location: Belfast Area (Hybrid: 4 days office, 1 day home working)
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 + Benefits
An established and growing insurance brokerage is seeking a Client Manager to join its Commercial Insurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and client-focused environment.
The Role
You will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, building strong relationships while delivering exceptional service throughout the policy lifecycle. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing client and insurer relationships on a day-to-day basis.
- Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business placements.
- Negotiating cover terms and ensuring appropriate insurance solutions are in place.
- Preparing policy documentation and maintaining accurate client records.
- Responding to client queries promptly and professionally.
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and support business growth.
- Working closely with colleagues across the business to deliver a high standard of service.
About You
- 2-5 years' experience in Commercial Insurance, ideally within a broking environment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and classes of business.
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance systems (Acturis experience beneficial).
- Cert CII qualified or working towards qualification would be advantageous.
You must be based in Northern Ireland with full rights to work unrestricted in the United Kingdom.
