Financial Analyst | Dublin 4 | Public Sector

The Client: Staffline Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Communications Manager for an exciting opportunity based in Dublin 4. Our client is a leading public sector organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality services and effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and collaborative team on a minimum 12-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering strategic communications, managing internal and external messaging, and supporting stakeholder engagement across a range of high-profile initiatives.

Hours of work: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday | 35 hours per week

Length of contract: Minimum 12 months

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project budgets, costs and expenditure, ensuring accurate financial reporting and cost control.
  • Assist with financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting and cash flow analysis across the programme.
  • Analyse financial data and prepare reports to support decision-making and programme performance.
  • Track contractor costs and payments, ensuring expenditure is monitored against approved budgets.
  • Collaborate with project teams and key stakeholders to support financial planning and governance.
  • Support the implementation of financial controls, policies and continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, governance requirements and relevant legislation.
  • Contribute to change initiatives while identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Degree (QQI Level 8 or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in a finance or financial analysis role, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis.
  • Experience in cost management/control within large-scale capital projects or a similar environment.
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of financial data from multiple sources.
  • Experience working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Full driver's licence/access to transport and flexibility to travel and work additional hours when required.

In Return:

  • Hourly rate in the region of €35-€40 per hour
  • Weekly payroll.
  • Minimum 12-month contract with the potential for extension.
