Hours of work: 18.50hrs per week (Mon & Fri 6pm to 10pm, Tues & Wed 8am to 11am, Thurs 8am to 11.30am)

Rate of Pay: £13.69 per hour

The Client: Local Government body based in Lisburn, serving local residents.

The Role:

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining a high level of general cleanliness, general maintenance and upkeep, ensuring a friendly and efficient service to the public. Driving duties and other services to support the activities of the Section in keeping with aims and values.

Requirements:

• A minimum of one year's employment experience working as a caretaker with specific experience in at least three of the following areas:
  • Cleaning;
  • Maintenance Work;
  • Erecting, dismantling and storing equipment;
  • Security;
  • First Aid.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety
  • Knowledge of CoSHH
  • Knowledge of cleaning material stock taking.
  • Experience of operating electrical and mechanical cleaning equipment
  • Experience of operating heating plant equipment
• Key holder open and close building
• Carry out Health & Safety checks and record as required
• Set up and set down meeting rooms for service users
• Cleaning duties including, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning WCs, kitchens
• Oversee small car park
• Check in and out 3 Community Minibuses
• Ensure that the building and car park are kept clean and tidy
• Good interpersonal and customer care skills, liability, some flexibility essential
• Ability to work well as part of a team and on their own if required
• A full current driving licence valid in the UK and access to a car or have access to a form of transport that enables you to carry out the duties of the post
