Pay Rate: £12.75 - £27.63

Location: Causeway Hospital

Hours: 30 hours

Our client, Northern Health and Social Care Trust, is seeking a Catering Team Leader to join their team in a fast-paced hospital environment, providing essential support to catering services.

Duties:

• Lead and supervise daily catering operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
• Manage and support catering staff through scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, allergen, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
• Oversee stock control, ordering, inventory management, and waste reduction to support cost efficiency.
• Resolve customer queries and service issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate service delivery and maintain smooth day-to-day operational performance.
• Support budget management and achievement of operational and business objectives through effective team leadership and communication.

Key Criteria:

• Proven experience in catering, hospitality, or food service operations.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage staff performance, training, and development.
