About the Role

We are currently recruiting a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join a busy logistics and distribution operation based in Cork.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking evening and night-shift work, with a minimum commitment of 3 days per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a company van to deliver products to customers safely and efficiently.

• Complete multi-drop deliveries in line with daily schedules.

• Load, secure, and unload goods while adhering to safe manual handling practices.

• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance issues.

• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach at all times.

• Comply with all road traffic legislation and company procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle.

• Communicate effectively with the logistics team regarding deliveries, delays, or issues.

• Assist with additional duties as required to support operational needs.

Essential Requirements

• Full clean driving licence.

• Previous van driving and delivery experience.

• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.

• Ability to carry out manual handling duties.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

• Ability to work evening/night shifts from 6:00pm to 2:00am.

• Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.

• Good communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience within a logistics, transport, or distribution environment.

• Multi-drop delivery experience.

• Basic IT skills.

• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
