Incident Response Operator - Day Shifts

Location: Lurgan, County Armagh
Pay Rate: £13.54 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week, 7:00am-7:00pm
Shift Pattern: Four days on, four days off
Contract: Full-time

About the Role

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting a Control Room Operator to join Mitie's team in Lurgan.

As a Control Room Operator, you will monitor alerts from high-value vehicles, communicate with vehicle owners and manage incoming and outgoing calls from clients. You will use specialist monitoring systems to track vehicles, report incidents and ensure all required compliance standards are met.

This role would suit someone with strong customer service and communication skills who can remain professional while working in a busy, fast-paced control room environment. Full training on the contract's specialist systems will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage alerts from high-value vehicles
  • Communicate alerts and relevant information to vehicle owners
  • Manage incoming and outgoing client telephone calls
  • Monitor vehicles in real time and follow incident-reporting procedures
  • Accurately record information using specialist monitoring systems
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling client information
  • Work closely with colleagues and clients across the UK
  • Follow ISO 27001, health and safety and compliance procedures
  • Meet individual performance targets and KPIs
  • Stay up to date with system changes and procedures

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisation and workload-management skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Professional and reliable approach to work
  • Five-year checkable employment history
  • Ability to successfully complete the required PSNI and industry-standard screening checks
