Rate of Pay: £12.71

Location: Causeway Hospital

Hours: 30

Duration: Temporary, ongoing

Main Duties / Responsibilities

* Prepared and served food and beverages to patients, staff, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
* Set up meal trays, plated and portioned meals, and ensured food was served at the correct temperature and presentation standard.
* Assisted with food preparation, including sandwiches, salads, vegetables, fruit, and breakfast items.
* Loaded, unloaded, and transported meal trolleys, food boxes, and catering supplies across departments.
* Maintained high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in line with departmental procedures.
* Carried out temperature checks and completed required food safety documentation.
* Operated catering equipment, dishwashers, and cash registers following company procedures.
* Managed stock movement, storage, and replenishment of food items and catering consumables.
* Performed cleaning and sanitation duties for kitchens, dining areas, equipment, crockery, and utensils.
* Assisted with special events and functions and supported the training of new team members when required.

Shifts Patterns:

7am-1pm or 1pm-7pm - Monday - Sunday (shifts aren't limited to these hours).

What we require from you:

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
• Willingness to undergo and successfully complete an AccessNI Basic Check.
• Level 2/3 Food Safety qualification desirable.
• Commitment to completing all mandatory training.
