About the Role

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting for Seasonal General Attendants to support a local government body across a range of public visitor sites.

The successful candidates will help supervise members of the public to ensure the safe, orderly and enjoyable use of facilities. This is a customer-facing role suited to candidates who are confident dealing with the public and working in busy outdoor or visitor-focused environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise members of the public using facilities
  * Support the safe and orderly use of parks, beaches and visitor sites
  * Provide a helpful and professional customer service experience
  * Assist with general site duties as required
  * Handle cash and maintain associated records when required
  * Support the smooth running of facilities during busy periods
  * Work flexibly across shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  * Follow site procedures and health and safety requirements
  * Assist at other sites when required

Essential Criteria

Applicants must have:

• GCSE English and Mathematics at grades A-C, or equivalent
  * At least 6 months' relevant experience in a customer-facing role working with the public

OR

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a customer-facing role working with the public, in lieu of GCSEs

Applicants must also have:

• At least 6 months' previous experience of cash handling and keeping associated records in a work environment
  * Ability to work various shift patterns, including evenings, weekends and public or bank holidays

Desirable Criteria

It would be desirable to have:

• Access to a car and a valid driving licence to assist at other sites and drive the on-site service vehicle when required
