Beach Warden - Groomsport
Part-Time | £13.88 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a point of contact for the hire/cancellation of specialist beach equipment and use of the Changing Places facility at Groomsport (or other sites as required); prioritise equipment hire and customer service over other duties and exercise initiative regarding ongoing beach, carpark and toilet facilities cleansing issues which need to be resolved, ensuring priorities are determined appropriately.
- Inspect and thoroughly cleanse specialist equipment in storage, ensuring that it is safe and clean for hire, and report any maintenance issues to management, completing the appropriate documentation.
- Engage with Borrower (person hiring equipment) on site, confirming booking details, checking ID, and following hire protocol including the equipment checklist and obtain signature for the Consent form etc storing all documentation in accordance with Data Protection requirements.
- Inspect equipment on return to the storage unit, documenting findings, and follow procedures for damaged/withdrawn equipment if necessary;
- ensure that management is informed in a timely manner particularly where subsequent bookings may be affected.
- Undertake training that is relevant to the post.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records to inform internal management reports.
- Liaise with Enforcement Officers to identify and report Litter Order Offences (dropping of general litter and dog fouling offences).
- Key holder, responsible for opening and securing facilities at specified times.
Essential Criteria
- GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent.
- At least six months experience in face-to-face contact with members of the
public in a service capacity - At least six months experience of completing cleaning duties.
- Experience of maintaining accurate records
