Graduate Administrator | Public Sector | Athlone

At Staffline Recruitment we have a fantastic opportunity available for a Clerical Officer / Graduate to take up a permanent position with a prominent Public Sector body.

This permanent position will be based in the organisation's office in Athlone and will offer a hybrid working model of 2 days per week working from home. The successful candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual ready to kick start their career within a dynamic organisation offering excellent long term career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide a high quality and efficient administrative service to the Management team to include; managing incoming phone, e-mail, maintaining up to-date records and processing related requests for information.
  • Support the Property team in providing research assistance and analyses as required.
  • Compile presentations, property data and marketing material that underpins the delivery of quality property solutions for clients.
  • Support property executives on key strategic projects as required.
  • Co-ordinate submissions and reports for the Division to national committees and government departments.
  • Provide support in the management of various administrative tasks in respect to monitoring of contracts procured for the division
  • Co-ordinate and monitor outputs of the division's Sustainability Strategy to inform the various team targets.
  • Carry out any other duties that may be assigned by the Property Manager from time to time;

Interested applicants will meet the following requirements:

  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft computer packages, proficiency and experience in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential together with the ability to use social media platforms.
  • A third level qualification, or currently working towards a higher education qualification is desirable.
  • Accurate record keeping requiring excellent attention to detail & an interest in developing & understanding improved business processes and procedures.
  • An interest in ongoing & improved systems development in support of the organisation.
  • Ongoing flexibility and interest in career progression and development via opportunities which may arise internally.
  • Aspects of this role will require travel and working outside of normal office hours.
  • A full driving license is desirable.

This permanent role will have a salary scale starting at €28,077 rising with service to €47, 289 along with a hybrid working model and benefits. The successful candidate must start at the first point of this scale.
