Rate of Pay: £14.52 per hour

The Client: Local Government body in the Newry area serving local residents.

The Role:

The post-holder will be responsible for maintaining a high level of general maintenance and cleanliness and ensure a friendly and efficient service to the public.

The post holder will provide customer service support to individual and group patrons of assigned facility/facilities, to help ensure visitor comfort, safety and enjoyment.

Hours of work:

22.5hrs per week

Requirements:

• Five GCSE passes at Grade A-C
• 6 months' previous experience of security and cleaning/cleansing duties within a public or commercial building
• 6 months' previous experience dealing with the public in a face-to-face customer focused service.
• Experience of handling cash and keeping associated records in a work environment.
• Have experience of working in a leisure environment, to include the setting up /dismantling of sports/leisure equipment.
• Hold a full current driving licence and access to transport, or access to transport to meet the requirements of the post.
• Ability to work outside of normal office hours, including evenings, weekends and public/bank holidays.
