Pay Rate / Salary: €39,000 - €56,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are recruiting a Social Care Worker to join the Dunshane Community in Co. Kildare. This Social Care Worker role will support adults with physical and intellectual disabilities and autism to live ordinary, fulfilling lives within residential and day services. The Social Care Worker position would suit candidates with experience in disability or social care services who are passionate about person-centred support.

Key duties:

• Support adults with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism within residential and day services
• Follow, evaluate, and contribute to support plans and methods
• Support the ongoing needs of individuals in care
• Work collaboratively as part of a team
• Maintain effective verbal and written communication
• Use IT systems including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
• Adhere to relevant policies and developments within Social Care and disability services

Essential criteria:

• Minimum Level 7 qualification on the QQI Framework in Social Care Studies or equivalent Health/Social Care qualification
• CORU registration or evidence of application in progress
• Minimum 1 years' experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
• Full driving licence
