The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders
• Budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
• Billing management and financial operations support
• Journal postings, reconciliations and month-end processes
• Supporting payroll, VAT and compliance activity
• Cross-functional finance team support during peak periods
• Assisting with process improvement and finance projects
• Ensuring strong financial controls and regulatory compliance

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong management accounting and reporting experience
• Advanced Excel and finance systems experience
• Commercially minded with strong analytical ability
• Able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment

Desirable Experience

• Professional services or legal sector experience
• Billing and credit control exposure
• Payroll, VAT or compliance experience
• Experience supporting wider operational finance functions
