Procurement Manager

Location

Border region / North-East Ireland (2 miles south of Culloville, Monaghan)
Predominantly office-based with some flexibility for hybrid working.

Salary

€58,000 / £49,000 + performance bonus (negotiable depending on experience)

The Opportunity

An established and rapidly growing distributor within the consumer goods sector is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join its leadership team. Supplying thousands of retail customers across Ireland and the UK, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering innovative and high-quality non-food consumer products.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven procurement and product professional who can identify market trends, develop winning product ranges, and drive category growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement product range strategy and roadmap
• Identify new product opportunities through market research and customer insights
• Develop pricing and positioning strategies
• Conduct competitor analysis and consumer trend research
• Manage supplier and factory relationships, including joint business planning
• Oversee product launches and associated marketing activity
• Monitor product performance, profitability, and forecasting
• Work cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams to maximise commercial success
• Deliver product training and presentations to internal sales teams

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar procurement, product, or category management role
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
• Experience managing the full product development lifecycle
• Ability to lead and collaborate across multiple departments
• Proven track record in product marketing and strategic planning
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Business or related discipline
• Knowledge of digital marketing, SEM, or online advertising is advantageous

Additional Information

• Full-time permanent role
• Monday to Friday hours (early finish on Fridays)
