An exciting opportunity has arisen for an RD&I Project Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team focused on innovation, product development, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer who enjoys hands-on testing, design work, and collaborating across departments to bring new products to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new product development and product improvement projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and operations
• Design, prototype, and test products, ensuring accurate documentation throughout
• Analyse test data to optimise product performance and design
• Prepare detailed technical reports and maintain development records
• Conduct research on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Provide technical support across departments as required
• Present project updates, timelines, and progress reports
• Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards, EN regulations, and company policies

Skills & Experience Required

• Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years' experience in R&D or a similar engineering environment
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of FEA tools (ANSYS experience desirable)
• Hands-on experience with mechanical testing and building test rigs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects to completion
• Innovative mindset with a proactive approach
• Willingness to travel as required
• Full clean driving licence (IRL/UK/EU)
