Salary: €30,000 - €32,000 per annum
OTE: €40,000 - €45,000 per annum

About the Role

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Limerick.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated recruitment or sales professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You will be responsible for managing the recruitment process from sourcing candidates through to client management, business development and successful placements.

The successful candidate will build strong relationships with clients and candidates, identify new business opportunities, manage vacancies effectively, and deliver a high standard of service while working towards sales and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Sales

  • Generate new business opportunities and develop client relationships
  • Meet sales and gross profit targets in line with KPIs
  • Carry out client visits for both new business and account management
  • Identify and follow up on leads and sales opportunities
  • Support proposal documents and tenders
  • Negotiate fees and rates in line with company policy
  • Promote the full range of Staffline services and cross-sell where appropriate

Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Manage vacancies from initial brief through to successful fill
  • Provide regular feedback to clients on recruitment activity and quality of service
  • Gather market intelligence including salary benchmarking, candidate availability and industry trends
  • Conduct client visits, networking meetings and service reviews
  • Generate management information and client satisfaction feedback
  • Support site management where required
  • Provide an on-call service when needed

Candidate Management

  • Source, screen and register candidates in line with weekly KPIs
  • Build and maintain talent pools for current and future vacancies
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Carry out skills testing and assess candidate suitability
  • Negotiate job offers, notice periods and terms of employment
  • Provide candidates with advice on salary, training and career progression
  • Ensure CVs are of a high standard and aligned to client requirements
  • Match candidates effectively to suitable opportunities

Quality and Administration

  • Maintain accurate records on the CRM and recruitment systems
  • Ensure all candidate and client information is updated correctly
  • Carry out vetting and compliance duties, including reference checks and right to work documentation
  • Handle timesheets, payroll queries, credit checks and invoice-related administration as required
  • Ensure compliance with company processes, QMS and legislative requirements
  • Support coaching, mentoring and training within the team where required
  • Deputise for the Branch Manager when necessary
  • Manage your own performance and professional development

What We Are Looking For

Essential Criteria

  • 1 year's recruitment consultancy experience within the last 5 years
    or
  • 2 years' direct sales experience within the last 5 years in a target-driven environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset
  • Organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Full clean driving licence or access to transport

Desirable Criteria

  • 2 years' recruitment consultancy experience within the last 5 years
    or
  • 3 years' direct sales experience within the last 5 years in a target-driven environment
  • Experience using recruitment databases or CRM systems
  • Professionally accredited through REC or NRF/ERF
