We are currently recruiting Multi-Task Attendants (MTA) for healthcare facilities in Limerick.

Role Overview

This is a frontline support role involving a mix of patient care, cleaning, catering, and portering duties across various hospital departments. The position supports both direct and indirect patient care within a busy healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and daily activities under the supervision of nursing or designated staff
• Support personal care of patients/service users as required
• Prepare, distribute, and serve food in line with HACCP and food safety standards
• Carry out general cleaning, household, laundry, and waste management duties
• Transport medical records, equipment, medicines, and supplies as required
• Assist with portering duties across wards and departments
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, staff, and visitors
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare (or equivalent)
• Training in Manual Handling, HACCP, and Health & Safety
• Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital environment (desirable)
• Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards (desirable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Information

• Must have full eligibility to work in Ireland (EU/Stamp 4)
