We are currently recruiting for a Production Floor Supervisor to join a busy and fast-paced food production environment based in Lough Egish.
This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will oversee daily production operations, ensuring the efficient, safe, and hygienic processing of high-quality liquid egg products in line with food safety standards and customer requirements.
The Role
Reporting to management, you will play a key role in supporting and leading the production team while ensuring output, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently met.
You will be responsible for supervising production staff across multiple lines, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring all production processes run smoothly from intake through to dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, support, and coordinate production operatives across multiple lines
- Plan daily schedules, allocate tasks, and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Monitor production output, quality, and efficiency, taking corrective action where required
- Ensure all production activities (intake, separation, bottling, packaging, labelling, and dispatch) are completed safely and efficiently
- Maintain compliance with HACCP, GMP, and Health & Safety standards
- Complete and verify all production, quality, and process documentation accurately
- Liaise with Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Support training, onboarding, and development of team members
- Promote a positive, safe, and high-performing team environment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a production supervisory or team leader role (ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG)
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, GMP, and Health & Safety standards
- Experience managing teams and achieving production targets
- Experience working with manufacturing processes and equipment
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands
Working Hours
- Typically 7:00am - 5:00pm
- Flexibility required, including occasional evening or weekend work depending on production needs
