Site Engineer

Staffline Recruitment Ireland, on behalf of our esteemed client, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time permanent role based in Limerick.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee the on-site delivery, installation, and quality assurance of precast concrete projects, working closely with the design, production, and project teams. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to design specifications;
• Review and interpret structural drawings and specifications to guide site operations;
• Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to resolve technical queries and ensure practical implementation;
• Monitor quality control, compliance with health and safety regulations, and project progress;
• Assist in troubleshooting technical or installation challenges on site;
• Report regularly on project status, progress, and any issues to the management and design teams;
• Support continuous improvement and provide feedback for design and installation processes.

Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
• 3-5 years of experience in site engineering, with experience in precast or reinforced concrete projects;
• Strong understanding of construction methods, site management, and health and safety regulations;
• Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and collaborating with design teams;
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
