Staffline Recruitment Ireland, on behalf of our valued client, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their growing construction team. The position is ideal for a candidate comfortable taking ownership of projects while actively supporting commercial and administrative processes. This will be a permanent role with the office based in Limerick, but with projects nationwide.

Our client is a Limerick-based environmental services company specialising in demolition, metal recycling, waste management, and site decommissioning. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee the operational and commercial delivery of demolition and strip-out projects nationwide. This is a varied position combining responsibility for project planning, cost management, contract administration, client liaison, and team oversight.
Project & Operational Management
- Oversee multiple construction and demolition projects across Ireland.
- Coordinate initial site setup, including labour, plant, materials, waste management, and health & safety documentation.
- Support Site Managers with day-to-day project delivery and ensure all reporting and documentation is accurate and timely.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and design teams.
- Assist with resourcing projects and ensuring efficient project execution.
Commercial & Contract Management
- Prepare and submit payment applications and manage contract variations.
- Support pricing works and quotation preparation for additional scope.
- Conduct site visits to assess work progress and develop cost assessments.
- Assist with tender preparation and review contracts to manage commercial and operational risk.
- Monitor project budgets, maintain cost reporting, and assist with final accounts and handover documentation.

Criteria
- A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a recognised trade background.
- At least five years' experience in a similar role, such as Project Management, Contracts Management, or Quantity Surveying.
- Proven experience in managing contracts, including payment applications, variations, and overall cost control.
- Solid understanding of construction site operations, including plant, temporary works, and waste processes.
- Flexible and willing to travel nationwide.
