General Operative

Our client, a leading company based in Carrigaline is looking for a General Operative for 6 months.

Responsibilities:

· Support daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to schedules.

· Operate tools and equipment such as cutting, grinding, flaring, and testing machinery.

· Receive, check, and record incoming goods and maintain accurate stock levels.

· Pick and deliver materials to production areas using appropriate handling equipment.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace across production and stores areas.

· Assist with documentation, stock control, and cross-training in related tasks as required.

Hours of Work

• Mon- Fri( Occasional Saturdays)
• 8am- 4.30pm

Requirements:

· Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or engineering environment desirable.

· Familiarity with basic tools, machinery, and inventory systems.

· Strong organisational and time management skills.

· Good communication and teamwork abilities.

· Physically able to perform manual handling tasks.
