An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Credit Manager to join a well-established, multi-site organisation operating across international markets. This role offers the chance to play a key part in strengthening credit control processes and supporting continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day running of the credit control function
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are made within agreed terms
• Review aged debt and follow up on outstanding balances
• Support debt recovery processes, including payment plans where required
• Help improve and maintain credit control procedures and systems
• Produce regular reports on outstanding debts and account performance
• Provide support and guidance to internal teams on credit-related matters
• Communicate with customers to resolve payment queries and issues promptly

About You

• 3-5 years' experience in credit control or finance
• Strong credit risk assessment and financial analysis skills
• Confident communicator with excellent negotiation ability
• Experience managing overdue accounts and debt recovery processes
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Supervisory experience desirable
