Job description

This role is a part-time position within a small office, and with the flexibility to fit in with your own individual or family needs. 12-16 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions into the SAGE accounting system.
  • Process purchase invoices, stock, sales invoices, receipts and payments
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements, ensuring accuracy, and identifying any discrepancies
  • Prepare and submit company VAT Returns
  • Credit Control - chasing up outstanding payments

Requirements:

  • Bookkeeping/Office Administration experience is essential
  • Experience using SAGE Accounts would be beneficial
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Good general understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel would be beneficial
