Clinical Nurse Manager

Our client, a private Healthcare Group based in Dublin 5 that provide rehabilitation and reablement, complex care management and transitional & step-down care for patients discharged from hospital are looking to hire a full-time Clinical Nurse Manager to support the Director of Nursing and their clinical and care team.

Key Duties:

• Support the Director of Nursing with the daily running of the home and work as part of the care team.
• Manage and support staff, including setting goals, managing HR issues, and dealing with discipline or complaints fairly.
• Make sure staff are trained, skilled, and follow all policies, laws, and best practice, including safeguarding residents.
• Promote good communication, teamwork, confidentiality, and a safe, respectful workplace for staff and residents.
• Ensure care is delegated safely, residents' rights are protected, and work towards a restraint-free environment.

Essential Criteria:

• Nursing qualification
• Registered with NMBI
• Postgraduate qualification in Gerontology (desirable)
• Previous experience caring for older people (desirable)
