Lab Driver - Antrim Hospital
Variable hours between 8:30am - 6:30pm
Rate of pay: £12.21-£22.34
Main Duties:
Collect and deliver medical samples (blood, swabs, specimens) between wards, GP surgeries, and laboratories.
Transport samples safely, following infection-control and temperature-control procedures.
Deliver medical supplies, equipment, documents, and pathology reports as required.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and follow chain-of-custody procedures.
Follow daily route schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
Communicate any delays or problems to supervisors.
Support the wider transport and laboratory team when needed.
Criteria:
Experience of multi-drop deliveries for 6 months
UK valid driving license
