An Garda Síochána is the national policing and security service of Ireland, with approximately 14,000 Gardaí, 3,400 Garda staff and approximately 350 Garda Reserve members – a total workforce of almost 18,000. The mission of An Garda Síochána is “Keeping People Safe”.
