The Campaigns & Corporate Content Manager will provide oversight of; Crimecall, the An Garda Síochána website, campaigns general recruitment marketing, the corporate communications mailbox and branding and marketing for An Garda Síochána.
The Campaigns & Corporate Content Manager's team consists of a Clerical Officer and an Executive Officer for the corporate stream of work and a Sergeant, Garda and Clerical Officer for the Crimecall stream of work. The post-holder will also work closely with the Assistant Principal heading the Corporate Communications Unit, the Social Media Manager, the audio-visual team, and the Garda Press Office.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage An Garda Síochána campaigns. Work with colleagues across the organisation, and with external stakeholders, to develop national campaigns and messaging.
- Oversight of website; lead on procurement of a new Garda website.
- Oversight of recruitment marketing.
- Oversight of corporate communications mailbox management.
- Manage An Garda Síochána brand and trademark.
- Work closely with other Office of Corporate Communications colleagues to produce corporate reports, including the annual report.
- Manage team members.
- Develop good relationships with colleagues, particularly those reporting into this role. The postholder will ensure they are across any issues that arise across their area of responsibility.
- Liaise with external production and content-creation companies and facilitate interviews.
- Manage forward planner; plan effectively to ensure campaign activity is organised in advance of deadlines.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of An Garda Síochána campaigns and implement changes going forward where required.
- Develop creative ways to reach new audiences in collaboration with the audiovisual team, Press Office and other Office of Corporate Communications team members.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Office of Corporate Communications to achieve shared objectives, including addressing crisis management.
- Candidates should be able to travel outside of Dublin for the role when required.
- Perform any duties appropriate to the position which may be assigned to support the objectives of the Office of Corporate Communications.
