The Opportunity
Our client a leading property management agency has a fantastic opportunity in their Belfast office as a Temporary Accounts Assistant - the successful candidate will lead and oversee the accounts payable function for the company.
This is a short-term position assisting with day-to-day finance tasks assisting the team as and when required with any adhoc finance tasks (i.e. uploading bank lines) - the ideal applicant will have prior finance experience within a busy office and have prior experience within Accounts Payable.
Key Responsibilities
- Uploading daily bank lines to our CRM system (SME Professional)
- Accurately filtering and assigning unallocated transactions to the relevant property accounts.
- Uploading rental revenue to our internal database.
- Processing landlord and contractor payments promptly and accurately.
- Maintaining accurate records and filing documentation in line with company procedures.
- Responding to finance-related queries from landlords, tenants, and contractors in a professional manner.
- Assisting colleagues in the Finance team with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in an accounting, finance, or administrative support role.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Experience within the property management, lettings, or real estate sector would be ideal but not essential.
- Knowledge of CRM or property management systems.
