Supply Chain Administrator | Belfast | £35k-£40k

Looking for a Supply Chain Administrator role with an industry leading client, and a marketing leading salary? Staffline are proudly recruiting on behalf of a supplier to the aerospace industry, on a permanent basis at their site in Belfast

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsibility for managing supplier relationships
  • Responsibility for day to day purchasing administration
  • Manage inventory levels through system MRP processing
  • Manage ad-hoc purchasing of all supplies
  • Ensure 100% system accuracy with costs, leadtime and delivery dates
  • Proactively manage all suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
  • Query price and delivery discrepancies with suppliers
  • Manage invoice queries in conjunction with Group Accounts
  • Identify and implement cost saving opportunities
  • Review and improve the purchasing function
  • Support sales in sourcing customer specific product requirements
  • Answering telephone calls and distributing accordingly
  • Proactive management of supply chain relationships
  • Responsibility for business purchasing administration
  • Responsibility for daily MRP administration & processing
  • Proactive management of on time delivery

Requirements:

  • Ideally 2+ years relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing sector
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Advanced level of IT skills (Microsoft Excel)
  • Advanced level of ERP System & MRP competence
  • Experience of MRP & inventory management
  • Experience of supply chain management

Hours of work:

  • 38 hours per week

Salary:

  • £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
