Our Client, A Large Public Sector Organisation based in Benone requires a Seasonal Shift Leader to join their team.

Role : Shift Leader

Location : Benone

Hours of Work: Up to 37 hours per week

Hourly Rate : £11.93

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide a range of reception, clerical, cleaning, administrative and supervisory duties as required.

To contribute to the provision of a professional and efficient service at Benone Holiday & Leisure Park.

MAIN DUTIES

Administrative/Finance

  • To deputise for the Warden as and when required in the day to day management of Benone Holiday & Leisure Park
  • To operate the booking system (currently Campmanager) in relation to the administration of facility bookings and advance bookings for caravan/tent sites within the complex.
  • To maintain risk assessments, maintenance records and report defects in the absence of the Warden
  • To carry out reception and cashier duties through EPOS, and reconcile cash takings with appropriate floats and computerised print outs.
  • To provide a front of house service, dealing with enquiries and complaints and providing advice and assistance in relation to tourist information.

Security/Safety

  • To ensure the security of the buildings and facilities is maintained while on Shift. Provide a key holder function and be available for an out of hours call out service in case of emergency
  • To supervise members of the public using the Complex, Caravan Sites, Golf Course, Splash Pools, Activity Areas and other facilities within the boundaries of the Complex and ensure that health and safety stands and Council byelaws are adhered to
  • To adminster first aid if and when appropriate and complete all necessary Incident documentation

General

  • To assist with the maintenance of any applicable quality awards to ensure that industry best practice systems are in place, maintained and current and to perform all duties in a manner which ensures that a high standard of customer care is achieved at all times
  • To undertake housekeeping duties as designated within the building and all exterior areas/buildings within the facility boundaries using the appropriate equipment and materials

Essential

  • A minimum of 4 GCSE passes (Grade A-C including English and Maths*) or equivalent (*Maths - The Council will consider other relevant numerate disciplines, i.e. Accounts, Economics)
  • A minimum of one years' working experience of reception duties/dealing with the public and supervising staff
  • A minimum of 6 months cash handling experience including operating a till and cash reconciliations
