Recruitment Consultant

Location: Belfast

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (reasonable flexibility required)

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 | OTE- £32,000-£40,000

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This role is pivotal in developing, organising, and administering comprehensive services designed to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness for our client contracts, ensuring both client satisfaction and profitability.

Job Summary

To understand and match the needs of our clients and candidates to provide quality tailored recruitment services whilst continually meeting KPI's and generating financial revenue targets.

Main Responsibilities

Sales Activity & Business Development

  • New business generation.
  • Meet sales / gross profit targets in line with KPIs.
  • Client visits - new and service as well as identifying and following up business leads.
  • Support on proposal documents and tenders; negotiate fees and rates in line with Company policy as well as complying with approvals / discounts allowed before issuing Terms of Business.
  • Responsible for candidate sourcing.

Client Management

  • Client Management, identifying client needs and provide regular feedback on quality of service.
  • Vacancy management.
  • Site management.
  • Collate information on clients such as number of employees, department, attrition etc as well as identifying sale opportunities to include the cross selling of brands and services.
  • Responsible for adding information to the recruitment system.
  • Network internally and externally with clients.
  • Benchmark for clients - salary, availability, candidate pool, industry activity.
  • Offer an on-call service to clients when required.
  • Generate management information, complete client satisfaction surveys and present to clients
  • Gathering client information through calls, visits and networking events using well prepared questions to build a full picture of clients to include organisational chart, business operations, main decisions makers and future business goals.

Candidate Management

  • Responsible for candidate sourcing and talent pooling.
  • Pre-screen and register candidates in line with weekly KPIs.
  • Prepare candidates before interviews.
  • Responsible for skills testing candidates and providing information to candidates on client history, structure, culture, and promotion prospects.
  • Inform candidates on the results of their interviews by giving constructive feedback and advice
  • Negotiate job offers, notice periods and terms of employment.
  • Offer advice to candidates on pay rates, training, and career progression.
  • Manage Temp availability to meet client needs (applicable to Temp Consultants).
  • Spec CVs / market candidates, search / shortlist CVs/, ensure CVs are of a high standard and reflective of client requests.
  • Provide information / feedback to candidates on clients and job specifications for all jobs.

Quality

  • Carry out work instructions in line with Key Processes and QMS.
  • Ensure all communications, written and verbal communication are effective and of a high standard.
  • Candidate vetting duties to include; identification and national insurance checks, verification of qualifications, obtaining bank details, dealing with timesheets, payroll queries and amendments, tracking credit checks, raise permanent invoices and reference checking.
  • Develop and ensure effective use and maintenance of CRM system.
  • Assist Branch Manager in the recruitment and selection of staff including Induction, coaching and development also deputise for Branch Manager where necessary.
  • Mentor staff within the branch and divisions of other branches and act as point of expertise for consultants.
  • Capture info / calls / bookings correctly on the CRM system - update and maintain client/ candidate information on the database.
  • Manage own PDP.
  • Ensure records are kept in line with legislative requirements.
  • Any other duties as required.

Criteria:

Essential:

  • 1 Years' Recruitment Consultancy experience within the last 5 years or 2 Years' direct sales experience within the last 5 years in a target driven environment: where you have had to identify new clients and maintain existing clients.
  • Experience of using MS Office to include Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • 5 GCSEs at Grades at A-C or equivalent including English and Maths.
  • Full, clean driving licenced or access to transport as travel is required.
