Job: Station Enquiry Assistant

Location: Cookstown Area

Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour

Contract: Permanent, Full-time role

Our client, a globally recognised Security company is looking for administrators/receptionists to fill permanent Station enquiry assistant vacancies throughout Northern Ireland. Successful candidates will work with one of our client's large public sector bodies in their area. These are permanent vacancies in an exciting and varied role with career progression opportunities.

As a Station Enquiry Assistant, you will be helping people with a wide variety of enquiries and supporting customers with their needs. You will be part of a diverse and dedicated team providing excellent standards of service within a busy, public-facing office environment

Responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with a wide range of queries in a professional and courteous manner, providing advice and assistance as necessary.
  • Deal with internal and external telephone calls
  • Controlling access to client buildings by visitors and contractors ensuring that all visitors are accompanied as appropriate and contractors have appropriate clearance.
  • Supporting staff in the delivery of their duties.
  • Effectively obtain and record reports.
  • Receiving post and other deliveries.
  • Liaising with internal and external departments/bodies (e.g. Social Services, Care Homes and the Housing Executive) to provide and gather information.

HOURS OF WORK

  • Days worked: Monday to Friday,
  • Shift: 11 AM to 7 PM.

RATE OF PAY

  • £12.60 Per Hour

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Previous admin/clerical/receptionist experience in a customer-facing role is ideal
  • Good attention to detail
  • IT literate
  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
  • Flexible and able to travel throughout their district
  • Candidates must complete and pass security clearance checks before starting
