Quality Assurance Engineer

My client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join their growing team in Shannon, Co. Clare. With our global expertise and local presence, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in our specialized field. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update QMS documentation, records, and systems.
• Drive process efficiency and provide feedback on issues.
• Conduct and report on internal audits, closing out any non-conformance.
• Analyse and implement manufacturing and business process improvements.
• Assist engineering teams in product/process verification.
• Manage CAPA systems and related tasks, leading quality problem investigations.
• Assist in operating and maintaining calibration systems.
• Manage and coordinate various quality-related projects and production programs.
• Provide quality support to operations, leading root cause driven approaches to problem-solving.
• Work individually and within teams on quality improvement and efficiency projects.
• Provide ongoing communication through reports and information transfer as needed.

Requirements and Skills:

• Self-directed, self-motivated, and able to prioritise competing priorities.
• Strong team player with the ability to identify and drive quality improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in NPI activity is desirable.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or environment.
• Good working knowledge of ISO9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
