Control Panel Design Engineer

Our client, an Engineering company based in Mallusk are currently seeking to recruit a Control panel design Engineer to join their team.

The position is permanent.

Working hours are 8.30 am - 4.45 pm (Mon - Thurs) and 8.30 - 3.30 pm (Friday).

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the role are as follows:

* To take the customers engineering requirements and design bespoke control panels that can be manufactured in an efficient manner.

* Liaising with Mechanical & Electrical Contractors on a regular basis.

* Create electrical schematics to allow the manufacturing team to build the BMS panels.

Criteria:

The successful applicant should possess the following skills & attributes:

* Previous experience of working within one of the following - HVAC, BMS or Process control.

* Previous experience of electrical design and engineering.

* Working knowledge of CAD drawing packages.

* To be able to create schematic drawings that can be manufactured including systems test and fault finding.

* Previous experience of control and instrumentation design would be an advantage.

* To be able to work to tight timescales to deliver projects on time and within budget.
