My client a leading public sector organisation based in Belfast are currently seeking a Full-Time Project Administrator.

Hours: Monday, Friday, 9am-5pm

Pay: £12.86per hour

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Administrator will provide administrative support to the equip Programme team, assisting the team to ensure that the Programme is delivered in an efficient, effective and high quality manner.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Delivery

  1. Responsible for the organisation and provision of administrative duties and project support to the equip Programme. This will include diary management, minute taking, word processing, mail management, file maintenance and the preparation of papers, reports, briefings etc. to ensure that programme requirements are met.
  2. Research, collation and presentation of information and reports as necessary.
  3. Assist programme team in the maintenance of project controls and standards
  4. Drafting correspondence and reports on behalf of the equip Programme and Project Managers.
  5. To maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external, maintaining appropriate communication networks and presenting a professional image at all times.
  6. Type reports, memos, letters, forms etc. to a high standard, as required.
  1. Utilise a range of software packages in the performance of the post including email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and specialist Project Management software
  2. Attend programme meetings as appropriate and support the preparation and timely issue of agenda, papers and the production of minutes.
  1. Maintain confidentiality within and without the workplace at all times.
  2. Participate as an active member of the programme team and undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade that may be assigned from time to time by senior officers.

Essential Criteria

1a. GCSE Mathematics & English (Grades A-

C) OR equivalent qualification to demonstrate

literacy and numeracy OR Higher qualification

AND 2 x A Levels or equivalent OR Higher

qualification AND have at least 18

months admin / clerical experience or

equivalent, involving extracting and collating

information from computerised information

systems

OR

1b. 3 years admin / clerical experience

1. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point

Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by The Organisation which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.

SECTION 2: The following are ESSENTIAL criteria which will be measured during the interview/ selection stage:

· Demonstrate experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including, Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point

· Effective planning and organisational skills

· Evidence of problem solving and use of initiative

· Ability to work to objectives and tight timescales

· Ability to be part of a team

· Flexibility to work in a changing environment

· Possess excellent communication and presentation skills to meet the needs of the post in full.
