Production Team Lead
Staffline Recruitment Ireland, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced Production Team Lead to join a dynamic team in Shannon, Co. Clare.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Staffing and Production Management:
- Collaborate with other area supervisors and team leads to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to meet customer demand and production schedules.
- Ensure continuous supply of components to the production line by communicating with stores.
- Meet all production targets as outlined by KPIs and populate target boards to monitor daily progress.
- Address and resolve issues affecting production, including quality, performance, processes, equipment, materials, and labour.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Direct team members to foster a multifunctional team environment with flexibility to cover all roles.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving equipment and hardware issues.
- Conduct regular team meetings to align on targets, address assembly line issues, and promote a solution-focused work area.
- Drive a positive, can-do attitude within the team, emphasising teamwork and high standards.
Quality Assurance:
- Communicate quality requirements and standards to the team, ensuring adherence to documented policies and procedures.
- Complete required documentation related to business or regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
- Support and identify continuous improvement efforts with the Production Supervisor and Management teams.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to facilitate manufacturing functions and ensure an FOD-free environment.
- Update production metrics and facilitate regular team communication to drive improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with prior leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues proactively and effectively.
- Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation standards in a manufacturing setting.
