About the Role
The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining and improving quality standards throughout the production process. This position supports internal teams in achieving compliance with regulatory standards and customer expectations, while actively contributing to process efficiency and quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and records;
- Conduct and report on internal audits, ensuring closure of non-conformances.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), including process verification and validation;
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency;
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and root cause analysis initiatives;
- Assist with calibration processes and ensure equipment verification is completed;
- Oversee and coordinate quality aspects of production and improvement projects;
- Provide data-driven feedback and reporting to internal stakeholders;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (or extensive relevant experience);
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or environment;
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 QMS standards;
- Proven experience in internal auditing and quality systems management;
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills;
- Familiarity with CAPA, NPI, and data analysis tools is an advantage.
