Product Technician
The Product Technician is responsible for focusing on product creation, specification development, data validation, and production support. This role involves developing and maintaining customer specifications, working with customers on new packaging designs, and ensuring product drawings meet quality standards. The technician liaises with departments like Quality, Planning, Sales, and Production to manage approvals and project work.
They maintain the accuracy and integrity of data, including product structures and routing, while resolving data-related issues through root cause analysis. The role supports production teams with specification queries and contributes to quality improvements. In addition, the technician engages in cross-site initiatives and provides data analysis for corporate staff, ensuring proper system controls are in place for decision-making.
Strong communication skills, ERP proficiency, and a comprehensive understanding of product development and manufacturing processes are essential for this role.
