Stores Operative

Our client, the world's number one wet processing equipment company based in Newtownabbey are currently seeking to recruit Stores Operatives to join their team.

Pay rate is £12.08 per hour with company benefits.

Position is full time temporary ongoing with possibility of permanent opportunity.

Hours of work 7.30am-5pm Mon - Thur and 7.30am-12.15pm on a Friday

Job Purpose:

To ensure all material and parts are controlled and managed in an organised and efficient manner within the stores area.

Responsibilities:

• Adhering to company safety policies and procedures, at all times
• Good inwards - goods off load, verify against paperwork and verify quality management
• Ensure stock is put away in applicable section of stores
• Dispatch - accurately pick goods for fabrication, site, assembly or spares
• Maintain target 5s standards for work area and identify and implement improvements.
• Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.
• Stock counting - assist with the routine physical stock count and check stock levels on Request.
• To adhere to our client's policy and practice.
• To protect the confidentiality of all information and data held privately.
• To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.

Criteria Essential Desirable Qualification/ Attainments:

• Stores Relevant Experience
• Available to work flexible hours
