Job Purpose

Management and organisation of all on-site storage areas to include Accessories, Board Plant, Plaster Mill, Isover, Metal etc

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure safety is the number one priority in all warehouse areas and warehouse operations.
  • Set, create, promote, and sustain 5S standards in all our warehouse and storage areas.
  • Contribute to and support the implementation of warehouse management solutions.
  • Contribute to customer service improvement through SRA improvements.
  • Optimise space to support material flow and maximise storage capacity.
  • Deliver best cost outcomes across warehouse management processes.
  • Contribute to improvements in Stock Record Accuracy as part of a focused team.
  • Utilise WCM /lean problem-solving tools to root cause errors and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Update and publish as required all relevant metrics.
  • Work as part of a team to use technology to optimise warehouse management processes.
  • Use technology to digitalise & improve aspects of warehouse activity.
  • Proactively minimise warehouse damage.
  • Stocktaking as required.
  • In conjunction with Planning manage stock transfer requirements between off-site stock locations
  • Manage off-site temporary storage partners through visits to carry out counts, spot checks and audits to ensure standards are maintained & improved.
  • Manage team resources effectively.

Qualifications required to fulfil the role

  • Minimum level of proficiency in MS Office & SAP system utilisation, with demonstrated ability to learn.
  • Qualification in warehouse management will be an advantage.
  • Leaving certificate as base level requirement.

Specific work experience required to fulfil the role

  • Proven relevant experience within an Inventory or Warehousing role.
  • Demonstrated SAP or other equivalent system knowledge.
  • WCM or other lean management tool experience.
  • Change management skills and experience.
  • Proven commitment to safety as a number one priority.
  • Proven ability to adhere to and enforce the highest standards.
  • Good people management, teamwork and influencing skills.
  • Self- starter who will work on their own initiative.
  • Customer Service orientated.
  • KPI and results driven.
  • Process and procedure driven
